WHY CAN'T NICE PAGES SAVE A FILE ON HARDRIVE?

Ask a Question

This is a question for other users - Did any of you delete your website by mistake or intentionally And had a backup exported as NicePage 'Project' & Html, but when Importing that backup 'Project', (which is in the form of a zip folder) the website's colours (as in everything in the website that you have coloured according to your design), has changed to white or no fill for that matter? As in the exported 'Project' function is an unreliable (yet the only way to) backup function. Like why can't a person just save a physical file on one's hard drive like most if not all other programs do?

Also, if one presses on, "New Website" Button, and let's say you change your mind and do not want to create a new Website, there is no "CANCEL" button, meaning you are forced to create that new website in any case, and instead of just canceling, you now have to delete that new created website - And that there is how I deleted my existing and finished website project, thinking I was deleting one of the experiment ones created above it. Or if you can't allow us to save a physical copy of Website on our hard drives, then at least provide a function that hides the websites that you are not currently working on, in some kind of folder in the programme. Also, Add a spell check or at least a red underline for incorrect spelled words.

GAVIN,

We have added your suggestions to our wish list. For now, you can export your Nicepage Projects and store those exports anywhere.

Hi Allen when exporting those files to NicePage 'Project', and importing it again into NicePage, all my customly added colours vanished from the imported file. I think If you can do a test for yourself, and create some of your own colours into a project and import it back into NicePage, you will experience the same issue. Also, with website that was exported to html and uploaded via control panels... They work well in Edge & Chrome, but in FireFox, any pics with any type of effect like animation, or a slider, etc. does not appear.

Hi,

I've asked our developers about the issue with missing custom colors. They reported that a similar issue is already fixed and fiх will be available in the next Nicepage 3.1 update.

We tested images with animations in the latest Firefox and they work just fine. Could you please provide a link to the website that demonstrates the issue?

Thanks Allan, and yes I completely deleted and cleared my cache on Firefox now, and I noticed that after doing that, the website is displaying 100% - Many thanks for your prompt replies.
