I have attempted to add the gtag.js code to the head of the Additional Head HTML section of a page but after I paste it and click
Done and exit the dialog box, it is gone. When I open it again it is blank...
How can I add code there???

Does that mean no code is allowed to be manually entered?
It means that Nicepage will generate all the necessary code. No need to enter anything else.
HTML comments are not supported in the "Additional HEAD HTML field." Please insert any other code without HTML comments.

I even tried to add comments and even the comments were deleted... NOTHING is saved there.
I do not understand the logic... HOW can we manually add commands to the Additional Head HTML section???

Nicepage generated the required GTM code. You need to insert the GTM id into the corresponding field under the Site Settings >> Google tab. Please try this way and let us know the result.
