I have had several different images which, before uploading, where the correct way up. As Soon as I upload into NicePage, the image turns a quarter turn onto its side. How can this be corrected by 45 degrees i.e a quarter turn from 9 o'clock to 12 o'clock?

Hi,

Do you mean that the image is rotated фаенук еору importing to Nicepage?
Could you please open the image in the graphic editor and resave it. It looks like the problem orientation is saved in the image properties. Nicepage itself does not rotate images.
