Couldn't help but chime in...

Nicepage is pretty simple to understand,

There are 4 user types - Starter, Personal, Business, Pro.
After the purchase your email/account is assigned a matching user type.

Under https://nicepage.com/download
You can download the latest desktop + plugin versions of Nicepage. Windows, Mac, Wordpress, Joomla.

When you sign in with your email address it unlocks features and account limits.
It's that simple.

Now what happens if you decide not to renew the subscription after 1 year?

You can only use the last software version after it expires - for life.
So afterwards you can only use available download versions found here https://nicepage.com/User/app/downloads
If you install a new version or update the plugins it will downgrade you to the Starter package

After it expires they use tactics, which I understand from a business perspective but are very annoying.

  • You are constantly nagged to update and you can't hide or turn these off, and they come often, every 2 weeks.
  • If your client updates their plugin version they return to the Starter package. 🤦
  • If the last software versions have bugs you will need to spend a-lot of time proving it (but if at fault, Nicepage will extend your update license) you are stuck with that old bug version until they extend your subscription.
  • New released block designs are updated regardless of your version and they appear above all others (locked) making it painful to scroll through eventually.

There is probably more I didn't notice but it's well worth paying for updates,
After 3 years and tons of great updates its now only missing a Mega Menu.
