Ask a Question

Hi

I am using the nicepage-extension for joomla, and it always seems like a struggle to get the hmenu position to show in the dropdown when editing the menu module. I have got it to work by using the desktop app, exporting a theme, importing the theme to Joomla and then it will show up, but surely it should work, or be possible even without this. The screenshot is from after I imported the theme from desktop app. Before that there was only "sidebar" and "breadcrumbs"
I have googled it but none of the advice I have come across adresses this. Hope someone can clarify.

Johann

Tove,

Shortly, hmenu - is the position in the Nicepage template. If you use the extension, you can only output the menu to the position of the template used. Or you can install the Nicepage application, design a site, and then install it to Nicepage, and have hmenu.

Nice. Thanks for the swift answer. I thought the menu shenanigans was covered in the header and footer dropdown of nicepage in joomla. It took me a long time to figure out the first time. And for as intuitive and straight forward everything else with nicepage is, struggling with invisible menus was very frustrating. Not sure how this could have been communicated, and perhaps It is just me who had this issue. Good to know that the way I have been doing it with the export import template is the right one :)

Again thanks a million.

Best regards
Tove
