I have a requirement for replacing the same image again and again. I just want to copy and paste from this image from the clipboard. There have been many issues with this. 1) Pasting an image into a block often resizes the block unnecessarily and the image gets pasted at the bottom of the block. Then I have to go and resize the block after resizing and placing the image. My suggestion is to just paste the image with a size from which it is easily handled. There is no need to resize the whole block unless the block is actually too small for the image. My experience is that the process always increases the size of the block even if there is plenty of space to paste the image. In my work I have to replace the same image over and over every week, and every time it resizes the block by a large amount.
2) Pasting an image to a Rich Text Element should be possible. Right now there is a 'quick insert' but it does not support pasting form the clipboard. I literally have to start an image editor like 'Paint', paste from clipboard. Save the file, then add it to my media ressources and only then can I add it to the rich text element. This is super tedious. Also, maybe you can allow pasting an image into the 'Media' section from the clipboard.
Thank you for considering!
