Hi,

will Nicepage compatible with the WCAG 2.1 EU law, witch will be active by june 2025. At the moment it is not, and it is not possible to use it for any type of website. There is to much missing like - Alt text for pictures, description for links and so on. And it doesn't make any sense to alter the exported sites manually even for CMS systems. Most of the pagebuilder have those features. If a site is not compatible, depending on the site, you can get a fine up to 100.000€.

Hi,

it's been now 4 weeks and no answer. I need to extend my subscription at the end of the month.
I won't extend it, if I can't create compatible sites according to WCAG and accessibility law.
As I wrote, the software at the moment is not compatible at all.

Hello Stefan,

Thank you for your patience. We understand your concerns regarding WCAG 2.1 compatibility and the importance of ensuring that websites built with Nicepage comply with accessibility standards. At this time, we acknowledge that some critical accessibility features, such as alt text for images and link descriptions, are not fully integrated into the platform. This limitation is something we are actively working to address.

We apologize for the delay in communication regarding this matter. We have escalated your feedback to our development team, and we are committed to improving Nicepage to better align with accessibility requirements, including WCAG 2.1. While we cannot provide an exact timeline for when these updates will be available, please rest assured that we are prioritizing this.

In the meantime, we understand the urgency of this issue, especially considering legal requirements in the EU. We recommend exploring other options for adding accessibility features manually or utilizing additional plugins to make your sites WCAG-compliant until these features are integrated directly into Nicepage.

Regarding your subscription, we respect your decision and will be happy to assist you with any questions or concerns related to your account. If you choose not to renew, we fully understand your reasons.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We truly value your feedback and hope to provide a better solution in the near future.

...................................................
Sincerely,
George.
