Dear Nicepage Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am experiencing an issue with my project where the links on my website behave inconsistently. At times, the links work as expected, but other times they redirect me to a local path on my computer (e.g., C:/Users/...). This is causing problems when trying to properly view and use the website.

Here is a summary of the issues:

Inconsistent link behavior: The same links work intermittently. Sometimes they lead to the correct page, and at other times, they redirect to a local file path.
Local file path issue: Instead of pointing to the appropriate server location or URL, the website sometimes tries to load files from my local machine (e.g., file://C:/Users/...).
No server access: I am currently unable to upload my project to a web server and have been testing the site locally. However, these issues are making it difficult to properly preview the website.
I have already tried clearing my browser cache and ensuring that all the file paths are set correctly, but the issue persists.

Could you please advise on what might be causing this and how I can resolve it?

Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your guidance.

Best regards,
Nastja

Hi Nastja,

Unfortunately I do not think that the issue can be checked without seeing the problem. Maybe you could provide a video showing how the issue occurs.
But it would be better to upload the site to some hosting and provide a link to it if the issue is reproducible live.

Dear Nicepage Support Team,

I am writing to report an issue I have encountered while using Nicepage in an XAMPP server environment. Some links, such as those in the header (e.g., Home, ...), do not function as expected. Specifically, the link that should redirect to the English version of the content often fails to open properly.
Occasionally, the link works if I copy it and paste it into a new browser tab, but this is not a reliable solution. The issue persists inconsistently, which makes it difficult to identify a specific cause.
I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter. Your support in finding a solution would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your attention to this issue. I look forward to your prompt response.

Best regards,
Nastja

Hi Nastja,

Could you please attach your project so we could check it on our end? Also please make sure that you choose the Relative path option when you export the HTML theme.

Dear Support Team,

I discovered that the issue was caused by the index file not working correctly due to the use of relative and absolute paths in the links. Some links were written as absolute paths (e.g., local paths on my computer), which led to incorrect redirects. I had to manually correct these links and adjust them accordingly.

Best regards,
Nastja
