Ask a Question

Hello

Through various searches on the internet and in the public threads right here from you on Nicepage support, I found a mention that a CMS is required to use the search box integrated in Nicepage. By further searching on the internet I learned that this can be done either through Wordpress or possibly others like Joomla. So I want to ask if I understand correctly that in case of free version of the site created through your application and using your free hosting nicepage it is not possible to modify the search box to show me what the user wants to search on the page ?

Only when I switch to the paid version in order to publish using wordpress or Jomla could I adjust the search box according to my wishes ?

Hello Deffenders,

Thanks for contacting us!

To enable a functional search box, you need to integrate your Nicepage website with a Content Management System (CMS) like WordPress or Joomla.

Please take a look at the following documentation, we hope it will help you.
https://nicepage.com/doc/131344/sidebar - Sidebar Layout
https://nicepage.com/doc/6461/use-sidebars-in-wordpress-v1 - Use Sidebars In WordPress

As we can see, you are on a trial period for Nicepage.
The Trial Period starts right after the registration, and you can use the Applications and Online Editor with all features for seven (7) days.
https://nicepage.com/doc/4720/trial-limitations

To achieve a fully functional search box, you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan and integrate your website with a CMS.
