Ask a Question

I am migrating a joomla 3 site to wordpress. I have used the FG joomla to wordpress plugin which has imported the pages ok. Opening the page in native layout block mode displays the raw nicepage metacode as expected. When I edit the page using 'turn to nicepage' it just (eventually) loads an empty page

Is there a method for detecting existing nicepage layout code and using it to automatically create the nicepage layout from it?

Dear Paul,

Thank you for contacting us regarding your issue with migrating a Joomla 3 site to WordPress using the FG Joomla to WordPress plugin.

Unfortunately, the current functionality of the Nicepage plugin does not support automatic detection and conversion of raw Nicepage meta code into Nicepage layouts directly. That's why we advise our users to use the Nicepage apps to design their websites and then export them into Joomla, WordPress, or HTML whenever they want.

If you do not have a backup project of your website you might need to redesign it again. Or, as an option, you could export your website by blocks from Joomla back to Nicepage and then into WordPress.

Sincerely,
Ahmad.
