Password for download

Hi;
If you export to HTML with Nicepage Desktop, you can protect your page with a password.

Thanks for that but I don't want to protect my page I just want to put a file on the site that can be downloaded but only if you have the password

You need to go into cPanel and create a FOLDER with a password where you put all your files.

I don't use cPanel. Is there some other way?

Hi Nick,

There is no such direct functionality in Nicepage to download with a password only. You can create a Download button with a link to a new page where you can place the actual file for download and select this page to have a password.
