"Create links without .html" no longer works

This is a self-hosted website: thegameeditors.com
The "Create links without .html" option is for Nicepage Hosting only. The HTML expoer does not have this option supported because this is the server setting. You can set up redirection on your server manually if needed.

Unfortunately, currently, The "Create Links Without . HTML" option only works for websites hosted on Nicepage's own hosting service.

At some point within the past few months, after recent site (and Nicepage) updates, the option to create links without .html stopped working and those links on my site that previously worked (like https://thegameeditors.com/book/ rice purity test) produce a 404 error, and only the html link works (like https://thegameeditors.com/Book.html). I don't know how many prospects I tried sending to a broken link before I noticed the change!

I publish my site using the export to html option and uploading it to my host via ftp. After the update, I'm on v.6.9.2.

It sounds frustrating to deal with broken links after the update. Have you tried checking the settings in Nicepage or your hosting configuration? Sometimes, server settings may need adjustment to handle clean URLs. Hope this helps!
