I've created a new website in Nicepage on WordPress, but when testing the forms they won't submit successfully. How can I get them working?

The old website was using CF7 with Nicepage styling and it was working fine. I made new pages and forms using the Nicepage desktop app and replaced all the content on Monday. Now none of the new forms can send email.

I have read the content and looked through other posts, but I'm still not getting anywhere.

When I use the CF7 shortcode on a page instead of the Nicepage styled form, I get the same issue.

Hello David,

You would need to check whether your server can send and receive emails.
1. Please test your CF7 shortcode with the original WordPress page, what will be the result with a published page?
2. One more way to test is to request a password reset. To do this, make sure you log out of your account on your site and go to your login page, to log out from your admin panel, and check - forgot password option. It can take up to 10 minutes and sometimes longer for the email to be delivered. Also, check your spam folder just in case. Will you receive a notification in your email?
If you don't receive any email eventually, you need to check if your hosting provider support wp_mail() and the standard PHP mail() function.

SMTP has been set up using the Easy SMTP WP plugin. The "send test email" function works fine, so that should mean that the hosting server is configured to allow sending emails. Resetting the password on my WP account also works fine,

The original WordPress pages don't exist anymore, because they were replaced with new pages imported from the Nicepage desktop app. The template was also replaced. The previous Nicepage template was reported to be out-of-date within the Nicepage plugin, so it seemed necessary to create an updated one.

I also have ReCapcha 3 set up both within the CF7 integration section, as well as within the NicePage site settings.

The error message I get when submitting any of the forms is "There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later."

Ok, your server is configured correctly according to your description, The last thing is to test a new WordPress page with CF7 shortcode since the shortcode with the Nicepage page is not working. If it fails then your CF7 plugin general settings should be checked and the issue is not related to the Nicepage plugin or server settings.

I managed to find a solution.

It turns out that the old website forms were configured to use reCaptcha v2.0 instead of v3.0.

I updated the Recaptcha keys and now the forms are working properly.
