Modal popups were a specific reason we chose Nicepage & signed up for a premium plan as we wanted some media like photos and videos to appear in popovers.
In the desktop app & associated previews, all appears fine. Frustrating not to be able to move them around to position them, for click outside & hitting escape not to options for closing them. but functional & figured we'd find an effective way to supplement the code. The site we were rebuilding had text like about/credits in a scrolling window beside the media... which of course had to be left on the chopping block as there's apparently no way to insert such a field on a modal within Nicepage... but fine for now.
However, once published there are glaring issues which make me question whether these were tested by Nicepage at all. Modal popups do not appear where positioned, do not consistently load at the correct scale. Literally spent days fixing this through trial and error for each device.. only to launch to Wordpress and and find them again in entirely different positions & scales.
All forum posts mentioning these issues seems to acknowledge awareness that they don't work properly & claim that basic functionality is "in the works" but this is literally being used as a selling point. Years have passed & nothing appears to have been fixed.
Reset Responsive is also not available for modal popups. Close button (X) frequently disappears on responsive views within Nicepage itself... (presumably being scaled out of the main view / slipping out of the window) it cannot be reinserted and, given that it's the only way to close the popup, one only has the option to delete the modal popup entirely and start over.
As pointed out in this and other threads... the option suggested on Nicepage's website prior to their being included in the app had most of the missing functionality. One can also freely drag a box or elements around when designing a standard page in Nicepage... yet the bad coding for these elements is somehow so complicated and insurmountable that it's still broken years on?
