For this tutorial, you will need to install the Nicepage WordPress Plugin. For more information, please watch the video about the installation of the WordPress Plugin.

   The following video tutorial was made with one of the previous versions. We are updating the videos. 

You can change the Header and Footer of the Nicepage Pages.

  1. Open the WordPress Administration.
  2. Go to Pages.
  3. Open any Page created with Nicepage.
  4. Click the "Edit with Nicepage" button to run the Nicepage Editor Plugin.
  5. In the Editor, select the Header.
  6. Change the Header Preset.
  7. You can modify the Footer as well.
  8. Click Publish.
  9. Close the Editor.
  10. Go to Pages.
  11. Open another page created with Nicepage.
  12. Run the Nicepage Editor.

Changes in the Header with the Nicepage Editor are applied to all other Nicepage pages.

You can have pages created without the Nicepage WordPress Plugin.

  1. Go back to Pages
  2. Open another page created in WordPress without the Nicepage Plugin.
  3. Click the Preview button.
  4. You see that the Header and Footer on these pages are different from the Header and Footer on pages created with Nicepage.
  5. For other pages created without the Nicepage Plugin, use the Header and Footer of the active Theme.
  6. You may watch the video about the installation of the Nicepage WordPress Theme.
  7. Click the "Turn to Nicepage" button.
  8. In the Nicepage Page Builder, select any variant.
  9. Click Done.
  10. You have created a New Page using the content of the original one.
  11. Switch the browser tab to preview.

The new Page has the Header and Footer from Nicepage.

Switch Template In Plugin

If you want to have the Header and Footer of your current Theme, you can set the option in the Page Properties in Nicepage or the Nicepage Options in the WordPress Administration.

  1. In the Editor, in the Property Panel, switch to the Page Tab.
  2. Change the Page Template.
  3. Click the Publish button.
  4. Close the Editor.
  5. Click the permalink to preview.

You can also define which Header and Footer to show by setting the property directly in the WordPress Administration.

  1. Go back to Pages.
  2. Open the newly created Page or any other Page created with Nicepage.
  3. Scroll down to the right bottom of the Page.
  4. Located the Nicepage Options.
  5. In the "Template" section, select the needed template for your Page.
  6. Click the Update button.
  7. Click the permalink to preview.

Now you should see the Header and Footer used from the active Theme.
