Would be nice to add text to the image when it is shown in the lightbox.
I know you can add text to the image in the gallery, but it does not show up in lightbox.
But that is not on the image in the lightbox.
I think that when the image is viewed larger in the lightbox that is when you would want to know the picture name, event or date. I even tried just adding a picture without the gallery and had to option of "Alternate Text" but did not see any text in the picture or anywhere in the preview. I want to add image gallery with over 250 pictures. No big deal adding sections with the gallery. With this many having it say next page would be good. If not you would have to have many gallery pages or lots of sections.

Text for pictures in the Lightbox would be hugely useful, as I build sites for artists and galleries as well as self catering accommodation..

1 .If we can have text for each painting - preferably file name in which we put all the details such as name of painting_size_ price - showing in lightbox that would be useful.

2.Also text showing when hovering over a painting in the gallery. Again same information taken from the file name, as above.

I too would love to see titles for images in the gallery - I vote a big YES for it!! Any ideas when it might turn from wish-list to reality? thanks so much.

same here - for clients such as artists or designers a photo gallery is a "must-have" and there is a need to name your works in a Lightbox. Seems unfortunately then I can't use Nicepage for that clients request.

So pls consider getting this feature done as soon as possible.

You can use the option to display the text below the image if you add Gallery control with the Carousel layout.
