Ask a Question

Hi

  1. How can I keep the layout styling after theme export without installing Nicepage plugin?
  2. If I export with Nice Page plugin, how can I make sure the client is not able to edit footer and header but only content?

Marshall,

  1. Nicepage pages require the plugin
  2. We are working on this.

Thank you!

I'd like an option to completely hide Nicepage from non-Admin users. If a non-Admin user logs in, he'd be able to create new pages using Gutenberg and edit existing Gutenberg pages, but it would not display the Edit in Nicepage button. For existing pages created in Nicepage, the user would have no editing options at all. Both Gutenberg and Nicepage would be disabled. Instead of displaying the Edit in Nicepage button, it would display a lock icon, or something to indicate the page can't be edited.

When we create sites for clients, we don't want them messing with Nicepage, because they could unintentionally wreck the design. Also, we don't want them knowing which software we used to create their site. The white label option is good in that respect, but we still need to the ability to prevent editing in Nicepage.

Hi Marshall,

We have added the special Content Editor mode for the Client Licenses available in the Pro and Ultimate packages. You can read more about it in this news update:
