Ask a Question

I have a 998k html file that I have inserted into a bloc using the Free version of Nicepage.
If I do not make a boarder around the inserted html element, Nicepage somehow forces its own dimensions on the page layout.
When previewed, the same occurs, plus the page no longer can scroll to the bottom.

Is this a limit of the free/trial version?
Owning a premium version, will things run more smoothly?
And, last question, does one need to always be logged in and online to create pages?

So - I was offered a 30percent discount - and bought the Personal licence since it can be upgraded to the higher levels if desired.
Thanks.

Had some issues, like seeing Made with Nicepage - FIXED that - site settings - great to see how easy and not a limitation of the licence. Another issue solved, saw golden crown icons still on every function and within the application even though licence was in effect. I decided to uninstall and re-install - which now is solved - great now the application is running better too. Issues with wanting to work offline - the Desktop version should allowed to still design and create pages without log in - is this me, my account, the licence limitation or other. Hope its just a simple issue, like logging in on startup and then able to cut the net to concentrate and focus on work. Otherwise why offer a Desktop version - to be always online would seem to cater to the online app which others request not wanting also. This concerns me, as the Lifetime application should always work even if Nicepage one day is out of business - correct?

So most of these things I am solving on my own - no reply yet from here - it is the weekend so no worries.

Presently:

Having issues, with HTML and Video content - want to use local custom content - having all videos uploaded to a public site like Vimeo isn't the best solution in these cases - specially during a creative process - it is not likely Designers will upload all these assets before designing a site - nor should it be - although the cost of hosting all your videos and others streaming the content is - in the end - a better solution -- it just isn't a common or likely process. Can there not be an updated feature to allow for local video to be added?

Hi,

Nicepage Desktop requites a connection to access the library of pre-made designs, blocks, and images. Also, it is needed for authentication (protection). In general, it may work offline, but you will not be able to use online resources. Therefore the Desktop application is not an offline application. But is it a lifetime application.

Unfortunately, Nicepage does not allow local video, but you can upload it to any server or cloud probably and use it by specifying a direct link to the video file.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Olivia

Perfectly clear and makes sense.

Next, not that I ever wish this to occur - but if Adobe went out of business today
(hmmm bad example as its subscription base) or any other software for that matter,
would Nicepage still work... I guess the authentication if no server to check would stop the online templates etc.
Not a huge lose if one still can continue making sites.

Thanks for your reply.

Hi Warren,

We definitely do not plan to go out of business, we have a lot of cool ideas and the will to develop Nicepage. I any case, just thinking hypothetically, the servers will still be available for our clients and the application will work fine.

Fabulous.
Wonderful to read a super positive answer and I agree.
It would be great heaven forbid something ever happened and people could not create with their favourite Nicepage app,
:)
