Responsive mode problem

Ask a Question

I have used NP for over a year now and built 3 different sites. I really like NP and the fast and intuitive way you can build your projects. I made a simple desktop template when I started, uploaded it as a template to Joomla and since then I have only worked in the Joomla plugin. I never had any big responsive mode problems.

...until now. This is the time of the year when I do content changes to my website. So i updated to the latest version of NP and started changing images and text. I use the menu works of Joomla and only indicate where to put it in NP. On one of my sites the responsive mode suddenly did not work properly. The page looks allright in preview and in the different device work spaces. But in real mobile devices it looks like sh*t. On top of the page there is an oversized hamburger, but when you click it nothing happens. Below it is a meny in bold capital letters in a bullet list and below that an identical bullet list on a black backgrund (letters are both capital and lowercase as written in the first place). After that several of the images (random which ones I think) are showing parts of the image instead of smaller version of the image as the preview does. At the bottom of the page is the GDPR panel, nothing happens when you click "Confirm".

Does anyone have an idea of what has happened. Everything worked nice and easy for over a year and suddenly hell came loose... Does it have something to do with the latest update of NP, the addition of GDPR panel or have I changed something critical without being aware of it?

Any help appreciated. The site: magicweekend.se

Problem solved.
After many hours of trial and error and going back in my footsteps I found the action that caused the problem.
The reason was that I switched from "Theme Template" to "Nicepage Header and Footer" because I was lazy and wanted to change the footer in the Joomla plugin instead of changing the template in the desktop app and upload it to Joomla.
When I changed back to "Theme template" responsive mode went back to normal again.

The question still is: Why did the switch to "Nicepage Footer and Header" mess up the responsive mode?
