Why is the option "Send email with PHP script" as many other options are not available in the Joomla plugin?

Send email with PHP script option is available only for HTML export now.
We have separate solution for Nicepage Joomla extension.

Please see our documentation how to setup email sending in Joomla which has a lot of email settings:

Installed the new version, added a search box then tried to get the EU Cookie feature working but somewhere along the line my home page broke and all I get is a huge logo and repeats of this:

Dummy page Campaigns About Press Shop [np_block_header]
[np_block_header_content][/np_block_header_content] [/np_block_header]
[np_block_content_content][/np_block_content_content]
[np_block_header]

I have reverted to a version of the page from yesterday but it's just the same. Has this version broken my site and how do I go pack to the previous version of the plugin?

Edited to add: All other pages of the website are OK - it's just the home page that's created with Nicepage that is broken.

Hmmm... It was the site logo that was appearing huge and covering everything else. I deleted the image and the home page appeared properly. I added the site logo back and it is now all OK. The graphic I use for the logo is large but is sized down in Nicepage - it looks like it lost the size and was displaying it full size.

All OK now.

I can't get the EU Cookies popup to work. I have ticked the 'Enable Cookies Popup for all Pages' but it doesn't popup anywhere.

Also, clicking on 'Edit Script' brings up the GDPR options tab. This has another 'Enable Cookies Popup for all Pages' tick box that seems unconnected with the first.

Do I need to add a script in the 'Run Script when user accepts cookies consent' field?

It's usual to remember whether a visitor has accepted cookies using a cookie - does Nicepage do this?

Is there a tutorial on how to set up the FormProcessor.php file?

Also could you not add to the form builder input fields that allow us to give the following info:

smtp_sever : The SMTP Host server name
smtp_port : The port number
auth_username : SMTP username
auth_password : SMTP password

So that when the FormProcessor.php file is output it already has the correct information in this file?

Is there still not a way (built into the software) to scroll to different sections?

Hi,

Will this feature be integrated into Wordpress plugin in the very near future?

Nicepage uses the "Contact Form 7" plugin to send emails in WordPress.

Hi,

Nicepage Cookie Popup is a quite universal feature. It creates a block with some text and button. You can enable it on all Nicepage pages. When you click accept button Nicepage saves browser cookie. That's all. The "Run Script when user accepts cookies consent" field provides an option to add Javascript for the accept button which will create the desired functionality.

s there a tutorial on how to set up the FormProcessor.php file?

Unfortunately, the Nicepage FormProcessor.php script does not support sending emails through SMTP directly in the script.
You need to set up an email sending on the server.

Is there still not a way (built into the software) to scroll to different sections?

Nicepage allows creating hyperlinks and menu items with links to blocks by its anchor id.

Please describe the issue with sending emails with the CF7 plugin in more detail in a new private topic.

That's a helpful clarification but doesn't yet provide a complete solution to accepting cookies. Many websites simply display the banner and close either after accepting or after a set period or on scrolling (for example, see the Jetpack Cookies and Consents Banner widget). Also, the usual function is to have the expiry of the cookie variable (the default in the Jetpack one is 180 days) - this ensures that the visitor is occasionally required to renew their consent. It would be useful if Nicepage provided similar functionality.

Can you at least give us the script that will allow the popup to be closed when the button is clicked? It would also be useful if that script allowed the cookie expiry to be set.

Is the popup part of the theme (and therefore appears on all pages) or does it just appear on Nicepage pages?

Ultimate Freehand. Web Design 3.0 -- Why is the download version 2.8.2?

Sorry - my misunderstanding on that comment. After reading the research Nicepage has complied, the numeration has nothin to do with the version of the software. Nicepage has provide this article which many should read prior to jumping in and asking a bunch of questions. Yet, like many other people, a new tool is exciting and we jump. I have been using a Mac only application called, "Sparkle" which I believe is the first and possibly the ultimate freehand and customizable site creator - which does not create a large image to display on the internet - its real code that has been around for a while - definitely aimed at creatives and Web 3.0 Design. For me, it happens to be incredibly fast to layout accurate designs and have a site up in minutes; and are fully functioning. Essentially, for me, Sparkle was an amazing prototyper and not a serious app for the Business World to host a Website, yet I am starting to think I may have under estimated Sparkle, due to the Article from Nicepage and the truth that, freedom and creativity leading the way with the next movement as Web Design 3. Sparkle does have some limitations too, and as I play with Nicepage to compare the two apps and their more advanced functionality, I can then only make a wiser decision what to use - as I am not a coder yet need have a need to create responsibility and responsively as modern as one can. This may in fact be why Nicepage is here. So far, I find it liberating to no longer depend on bloc structure of Bootstrap that tends to force a certain look and feel. Nicepage is a sweet blend of structure that lets one bend the rules and allows creativity to bloom.
Still more testing and play to see just how great it is.

It would be nice if you could implement PHPMailer or something similar so that we can use SMTP Server settings in the form. Most shared hosting companies are now blocking unauthenticated emails from their server.
