Ask a Question

Hello team,
I have found, that when I configure one block, to support Image-Lightbox (containing 4 images only), when 3rd image is shown in Light-Box, whole screen (including browser's GUI itself), got dimmed. This happens, only when exactly this one image is shown.
Can you give me a hint, why this happens?
I use Google Chrome in its current version: 76.0.3809.132 (Official Build) (64-bit).

In my computer in the office, this is not reproducable, but on my freshly installed up-to-date Windows PRO 64x ran on HP Mini-PC (also current version of Chrome), this is noticable. When the image is switched to another one, dimmed browser's GUI is revereted to its previous lighter state.

The link follows:

If this is not visible elsewhere, I do not care too much, but my client visited me yesterday, and he has recognized this.

Thanks for your answer.
Regards,
Michal

Hi Michal,

I have checked the site on two notebooks in different browsers and cannot reproduce the issue. Please let me know if the issue happens on other computers? Maybe the problem is in some browser extension.

Hello Hella,
I have tried also at office, and there is not possible to reproduce it. It might be some "new features" in Windows, because of new patches, that will not interrupt the user from work when the applications are shown in full-screen. If it is not reproducable on other machines, I consider it as resolved.

Thanks and have a nice day.

Regards,
Michal

Hello Hella,
I have finally found what's the cause of such behaviour. After Window's cumulative update from Feb 2020, this "adaptive brightnes of the display" is set, but MS somehow hide the control pannel, where it should be disabled. Neither in the registry the key and path is not visible. So it does not have anything to do with Nicepage. I will have to seek further on the Internet.

Thanks for your help and answers.

Michal
