Ask a Question

I'm rather confused... is it not possible to send emails with Nicepage desktop without some other 3rd party tool to make it work?

Hi Nathan,

HTML Form cannot send emails. This is a server-side function. The form needs a PHP script that tells the server what to do with the form fields data, and the server should be configured to send emails. At this moment Nicepage does not provide its own send email script. But we launched voting to see what form functionality our customers need:

The first wysiwyg website designer I used was net objects fusion, that was over 20 years ago, they had basic phpmail send commands. The more I use Nicepage the more I realise that its still about 2-5 year away from having everything it should as a stand alone desktop wysiwyg website designer. I'll keep an eye out for updates but today is the 17 Feb 2020 I will put money down that within a year it will still not be done.

Hi Nathan,

We are working on the form improvements right now and probably some improvements will be done for the simple HTML form submit option. Please follow the news.

Well I no longer have a license so even if you do add it I won't benefit, I've gone back to using X Theme Cornerstone because it has everything a normal web designer needs that is missing in Nicepage. I purchased Nicepage thinking it would be better but you left out basic elements like...

Tabs / Link to Slides
Accordions / Collapse
Icon and feature lists just a basic bullet list with font awesome icons
Text Paragraph

Under all the software I have purchase in about 25 years of being in this industry I have never had such high hopes in BETA only to be let down because you focused 1 year on adding tutorial videos and blocks - and messing around with the UI for over a year

Hi Nathan,

Thank you for your comments.
Please note that we offer update discounts. Also, you can use any PHP send email script with a Nicepage form. We provide simple script in our documentation.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
