Ask a Question

I read about a previous query about adding Woocommerce to Nice Page, but I usually make use of E-Shop (joomdonation) in Joomla. But as I cannot link this to a category, the blog and post layout cannot be used. In Themler we had the default page to add module positions etc. How will one achieve the same results in Nicepage?

Thanks, Johann

Johann,

You can create a template in the Nicepage desktop, export it for Joomla. import the template and the Joomla extension as explained here https://nicepage.com/doc/article/4348/

Use the Nicepage template on other your site's pages.

Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback. I think you did not really understand my question.
I do not want to install a template, I want the to add sidebars to the default page (other than posts and blog layouts)
I want to use a component on a default page with sidebars.

Thanks, Johann

Hi Johann,

The Sidebar is a layout element of the theme. Therefore if you're using the theme with sidebars please choose the corresponding template for the page ("Theme Template"):

joomla-page-templates.png

and assign modules to the position located in the theme.

As an alternative, you can use Position control to display the module located in the existing theme position.
Nicepage page is an equivalent of the article which does not provide sidebars (theme elements).

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
