Over 1 year on waiting list, such a basic feature - 1 year? this just proves you guys don't care. Just add more design blocks and forget about the basics needed to design 3.0 website

The requested feature has zero market value nor would provide any additional revenue for them at all.

There's a hugh mature market of addons that already exists with wide variety of features people want just like you. It was created when the first rudimentary content systems appeared. Back then when people wanted something extra, someone write an extension just like you add to your browser.

Take a moment or two to input a valid search term in Google. Use your current subject line and modify it to ride it of the 'Add', and griping, then substitute either wordpress or joomla for CMS_Name so it looks like this:

CMS_Name ACCORDIONS, TABS & TOGGLES

Press enter.

That's it.

You are right there are a lot better opens than Nicepage.

I could live with separate anchor points for each slide - could use that as a make shift toggle but no its one block anchor point.
If you are working with something like a price list and you want to have month, annually and bi-annually, a tab system is something I would use when I don't want to see a page duplicate something 3 times when it could just hide until tabbed?

I'm talking about the standalone WYSIWYG desktop version - when I say BASIC features are being replaced by adding Block Design and more stock images.

Hi Nathan,

We understand your request and it was indeed included in our wishlist. We have recently created the voting for the most requested features to see the priority for our users. You can see the results here:
https://nicepage.com/doc/article/52156/nicepage-update-1-0-to-2-0-november-25-2019-voting-results-joomla-position-in-the-off-canvas-panel

As you see, the tab control and so on are at the end of the list, which means that probably using some ready solutions like suggested above will be more productive.

Hella

I'm stunned that there are no accordion blocks in this program.

The results from November last year come from a survey you ran in march 2019, I see you are almost right at the bottom of that list.
When you add tabs please reply and I reorder. As I have explained if you are moving a website that has an accordion then you need to reformat it for Nicepage. It a web design standard - love it or hate it this was the reason I never resubscribed. I purchased the Pro version when it was in BETA and everyone that contributed to the additions and the bug fixes just paid for your development. And when I asked about tabs you took a poll. What assholes

Sure, they will make the software just as you like. I think what you say makes no sense. the software must grow according to the needs of all users, not just one.

According to their own poll results - 1 in 5 or 20% of Nicepage users want this feature. Should it take years to be added?
As a consumer I can decide what I spend my money on and until this is added I will never give the developers another cent.

All I have tried to do with this post was bring awareness. Very frustrated that Nicepage is missing basic elements that are in every web design toolbox and have been developed before this software was sold. Not asking them to reinvent the wheel just put it on the car. https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_js_tabs.asp

What I have been questioning is why so much time was spent by the developers during my 1 year PRO license for adding user tutorials and blocks. These are great for new website WIX babies but if you have been developing websites since the internet started you would need these tools above ALL else. I complain because when I purchased I assumed they would continue on a logical trajectory of adding basic development elements but for some reason instead of adding more developer elements and tools they simplified the software for new users. In essence I contributed so they could dumb down the software for noobs.

I guess, you, are, on, this alternate reality trip where people make comments for no reason? To have an opinion would mean some experience in the matter. Humble, honest, collaborative and welcoming should be the mantra but instead its a stubborn hostile know it all attitude that is slowing growth of what could be good for the bottom line. Money.

Ok, a today's let's call it "modern web page builder" (static, non-shop) must have (this is my personal opinion):

Rows
Columns
Blocks
Sections
Horizontal navigation
Vertical navigation
Text box (with scroll and hide text options)
Fonts
Icons
Separators
Message box
Social icons
Image
Gallery
Image Carousel
Slides (txt + img, vid, ico....)
Tabs
Accordion-FAQ toggle element
Pageble container
Buttons
Call to Action
Tooltips on hover
Animation for elements
Animation for page transition
SEO management

Maybe I have missed few things...

How dare you suggest that an accordion menu is rational!!!! I would rather have 10K more blocks in one month.. I only wanted phpmail and they lost their minds on the form section. I've had alot to say from a few years back now and... I just want you all to remember this in eastern europe - if you not growing - you going...

I am not suggesting anything. Just speaking my opinion out . Never said "accordion menu is rational".
Now I am supposed to say: How dare you suggesting 10k more blocks? All pages will look the same bla bla bla... but I will not :)

Whole world, not only Eastern Europe... cheer up, smile, if you don't like app don't buy it.. work with what you got, workaround, there is no perfect app...etc...

Bro, all good baby... Under semi lockdown in South Africa, spent the day with my brother and dad distilling banana mash - we got 125 proof alcohol from 25 litres of mash. Just a good quality time moment. I don't get stressed about life, this forum post was created over a year ago and this is just software ^^ so what? I just really want to light a fire under the developers. I fucking love Nicepage! Why am I so obsessed with it?

I really need the Accordion but find it surprising that when adding a menu button there is not an option to open in a new browser tab.
I have a PDF i want to open but not have the user feel like they left the site
