It would be great to have the ability to set blog post meta data for on blog posts displayed on sites that are published via HTML.
In particular, the ability to set the date for a post. At the moment, all blog posts get published with the date the HTML was exported.
So, old post become new posts. If there is the ability to set the blog post date or even an alternative date (for display to page viewers), then that would help avoid this. Similarly, It would also be useful if a category could be set to a static HTML post too.
I know greater blogging functionality is available using blogging platforms like Wordpress, but some sites do not need to be as dynamic.
Vote to pay developers attention to this features or issue.
