Looks like there is the Underline property enabled for the Menu items. Please check that. If you do not find it, please attach your exported Project.

Attached - I've never seen a menu show underlines like that so maybe you can help - I just want a simple fix to get rid of the tiny underlines. This is urgent to me

I see where the Underline option is activated, that is under the Menu >> menu Items >> Font, but I cannot switch it off, I'll ask our developers about that.
Meanwhile you can add the following code under the Site Settings >> CSS:

.u-header .u-nav-1
{
text-decoration:none!important;
}

Or if possible, remove the menu control and add it once again.

so how many months until you fix the bug? - by the time my subscription expires it will have been 2 months since I reported this.
I think you know by now how unimpressed and disappointed I am and I'm going to add review online so people know how slow you are.

We are sorry to hear about your disappointment. The case was assigned to our developers 4 weeks ago and I have provided the solution with the custom code at the same time. The permanent fix will be included in the next update, but you already have the fixed project and the manual solution provided before.
