Ask a Question

Hi,

I want to start using the Nicepage
I have several images under /images folder

When I go in the nicepage to grab an image though, I cant see the image directory structure under "My Images"
So I can't reuse them.

It looks like its gathering several images from some subdirectories but not all of them. The point is that I want to organize them for better management.

How do I do that?

TPiP,

If you have any issues related to the images on your server please create a new private topic with a detailed issue description and screenshots so we can investigate it.

Hello, yes, i still waiting for it. But i dont know why, Nicepage wont make it possible...

I don't know what to tell you. Seems like they don't really care for features with "low amount of votes". Such a basic feature should exist but whatever.

I am also in need of this feature! It has been a pain. This post has been created more than 1 year ago, and they still didn't add it.

It is again the same demand i have seen in may post, and have already posted since 1 year. They only say "yes we will consider it in our wishlist"...

But this is a basic feature, like multi color in the same text... But it is not basic for all people...
I have the same problem, how you want my client can use this image manager ? It is impossible. So i have to do somes tricks with JCE for get link etc etc etc...

I hope a day you will implement a way to just open the joomla native editor (so we can use Tiny or JCE).
Nicepage is a good editor when you just want to do simple things. Post a section, text and thats it.

If you want do more, you can if it for you, but for client, it is too complicate...

For me this is also an essential function, that should be implemented. I have clients with some thousands of images, which is impossible to handle without a proper folder hierarchy (as it is for example already part of Joomla).

When I open the Add Image, (pic: NicePage-Image-manager.jpg) I can see all images located at some folder that I do not know. It's good for novice users who do not need to know.
I have hundreds of images sorted out in various folders for easier management.

If you take a look at Quix-Media-Manager.jpg, you see that you start on the media folder root, you see what is beneath, you can upload on a certain folder, you can create a new folder etc.

The best of both worlds would be to have an "Advanced" option next to My Images, where you can see the folder structure and start the image discovery at that level and below, with option to traverse at any folder, create a folder and upload to the current folder.

Ioannis,

Not exactly getting what you are trying to achieve. Can you please send screenshots.
For now, we support only one by one image uploading.

Thank you!
