Themler + Nicepage Framework

Hello, I mostly use Joomla and wonder if Themler and Nicepage can be like the other top Joomla developer's multi-site creation systems. The top template designers have a page builder for their clients to use along with the theme maker. They share the same libraries so it's only loading one set of BS & CSS for both.

This would be ideal for what you have now. Why don't you ask the developers if that is the plan and explain that to us? It would make us all so much more confident you are not abandoning us like Artisteer.

I want separate products.

I also don't understand the developer's attitude that they want to scare off hundreds of users.

Yes I don't understand it either.
You must have lost a lot of customers.

Themler is still the better Website Builder with more Functions - but not Perfect and also Bugs.
Nicepage has a lot of catching up to do and even then it's not the same in some ways - it also targets other customers.

We all want more attention on THEMLER again !
Please bring more regular updates for bug fixes and also develop it further !

Or give the project to a new company which will take care of it in the future and you concentrate on Nicepage.

I am also a Webdesigner since Artisteer and have invested money in all 3 software solutions but with Nicepage I refuse to pay again for an update or they come a bit closer.I just built a Nicepage site (5.10.10) and it was terrible, I had to do some work 2-3 times because everything was moved to other Responsive views (similar to themler at the beginning).

not a bug, its a feature? haha

oh by the way responsive... why the hell only do px almost everywhere - that's 90 style.
it also needs % or em values for shapes, images, etc. - themler and as far as i know even artisteer could do that decades ago.

but much already read several times in the forum

Hello everybody,

I repeat myself and still hope that Themer will evolve. I also came from Artisteer and have now familiarized myself with Themler.
If the development only goes in the direction of Nicepage, I'll be out and look for another software to build individual templates.

As I said before, Nicepage is not suitable for our purposes.

I also don't understand the developer's attitude that they want to scare off hundreds of users.

Best regards
Thorsten

Agree totally. So sad that this company keeps ditching their software and starting from scratch which they have done twice already. It really reduces my trust in moving to their latest software.

This has strong implications for their motives.

I ended up with SP Page Builder Pro. It has it's quirks and some issues but it's working well enough. If only Themler would keep up with simple updates that would be fine.

Hello Daveozric, what was the conclusion? How is it going with you? Because I cannot edit older Themler Teplates under Joomla. I have no time to manually modify PHP etc. Thamks! :-)

Hi,
Hello, I recently saw a post on Youtube about Joomla 4. I think it was joomladay 2019. There today a perennial woman reports and describes the state of affairs. She also reported that Joomla 4 contains a pagebuilder. In Beta 1 I didn't see anything about it, because I only tested briefly. I haven't tested Beta 2 yet.

The Video: https://youtu.be/dVT5EpbyQFY

Greetings

I too am not looking for a new page builder. I want a dedicated template builder and Themler is the best for features. It just needs to be kept up to date with Bootstrap, Google Fonts, Jquery, etc.

Then we hope that Themler will be developed again soon. I tested Nicepage and it is not usable for my projects. If Themler is hired, I switch to another company.

Merry Christmas

Thorsten

Hi,

Indeed, we do not pay much attention to Themler now, but we solve the major issues and the application keeps on working.

But the problem with any mention of Themler is that is seems to have been abandoned over a year ago. :-(

Then that is new info to me. I am not a developer and do not know about such things. I know Bootstrap is Joomla default so I like this for now.

I guess it cannot be a common product so that means it's even more important to develop both products.

Like I said if I get burned again it will not a good thing. I just spend 18 months rebuilding all the Artisteer templates into Themler themes. I am not going to do that again with another of their products. They need to stop playing games with us and keep their promise that they switched to Themler to make a future compatible product they can continue to develop. This was their whole reason to switch to Themler from Artisteer. We all fell for it. Now back this up with action. Fool me once.......!

IMHO SP Page Builder will work more smoothly with Themler as it's uses Bootstrap. So you can load only once Bootstrap files for Themler and SP Page Builder.

But with Nicepage you need to load Themler Bootstrap + Nicepage own framework.

Nicepage will be good only if you need canvas with absolute position everywhere... Nicepage called this as Web 3.0. In other cases there is no benifits to use Themler and Nicepage together...

Just IMHO.

Maybe Nicepage team can show good examples of usage Nicepage + Themler?

Hi Dave,

Themler and Nicepage use different frameworks and libraries. But Nicepage plugin for Joomla is just a content builder. You can use any theme with Nicepage pages, including Themler theme. And you can use articles created with Themler side-by-side with Nicepage pages. Both of these systems work independently. But they can be used side-by-side.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

I do. I am asking for you to unify these as a common system for us to use together but keep them separate products. Many people do not want to switch to Nicepage but may want to add it. Why not make both projects intertwined so we can use both. Focus on SEO for us not just layouts. That is only part of the game.

Tested Nicepage + Themler at the end of 2018. Nicepage work incorrect, different results between Nicepage editor and real website. Have tried different Themler and Nicepage layouts, options etc... And yes, two frameworks will give huge code and very low Google page rank.
