Ask a Question

I see that Nicepage created a big section of css code on simple page. I am interested to know Google pagespeed data on Joomla category and article page for live websites. Thank you.

nicepage takes very high values, their themes are very good, I started from the html version to understand the real weight of the code, and then I continued with joomla.
The css is not small but does not affect at all, look at the attachments

With Joomla it is generally necessary to have a plugin cache like jch optimize, not because the problem is nicepage, but because any joomla plugin generates additional css or js, and so you have to combine the resources.
So if you have gallery or module extension...., jch optimize also catvate some server improvements via htaccess

with jch and a lot of attention on the images you have values higher than 90% 95%

I also advise you to be extremely attentive to the images if you want to have good values.

so I recommend it:

1 - resize your images with "FastStone Photo Resizer "(the trial is complete)
2 - compress with FileOptimizer is opensource image folders (or with jch plugin)
3 - buy and install jch optimizer ( single licence i can install on all the sites you want)

Hello Glumarr,

Thank you so much for the reply. I know you have many posts on Joomla related posts in this forum.
1) Are you using free or paid version of JCH?
2) Do you know anyone successfully sell nicepage template in template market like themeforest etc? I could not find one. I am aware the design needs to be original and stock images from nicepage can not be used in the marketplace.

Thanks again.

Hi Tan,

We haven't heard about the unsuccessful tries of selling the themes on the markets. Please feel free to try the free Nicepage edition, it allows exporting the theme, that will give you the ability to do all the desired tests.

Hella
