Report a bug

Hi there,

I am trying to add "Joomla Positions". but I am miserable failing.

It's about www.nvbh.eu CMS: Joomla 3.9.0.

In Nicepage for Mac OS, I am adding 3 positions, which I called "Laatste-NieuwsV3", "Snel-NaarV3" and "AgendaV3".

Then I exported the new template and imported it into the Joomla and also imported the content.

But in the Module section, custom HTML I cannot find these positions.

If I go to "Template" -> Preview I see the positions I have created.

Please help me in solving this issue.

Paul

Hi Paul,

Please have a look to this video:
https://nicepage.com/doc/article/6700/

It explains that the positions you have added are located in the content area and not in the theme. Joomla works this way: in content you can only load the existing position and not create a new one. So you need to add the positions with the same names somewhere in the template area and then load them within content.

I have the same problem it seems.

My current website was built in artisteer.
I want to replace my current theme, with a new theme made in nicepage.

I created the grids with the 3 columns, named them position-16, position-17 and position-18.
I did that in the main theme as well as blog and post templates in nicepage.

When I install the theme in joomla, i see the postitions in xml. I also see the positions in preview, however they are way down at the bottom, piled up, instead of in an actual grid.

And when I assign a module to position-16, nothing shows.

The answer posted by Hella was not helpful and I watched the video 5 times and I don't see what is wrong.
Any help is highly appreciated!
