Report a bug

When I import sites made by nicepage, the URL are like www.http://www.mysite.com/ct-menu1-item2/ct-menu1-item3, even if I´ve edited the Joomla configuration to "SEF-friendly".

So solve this problem, I can edit the alias to - for example - "imprint".
First:
it´s a pitty, that I have to change all the aliases. What shall I do with website with more than 50 sites? It´s impossible to edit all alias, isn'ít?

Second:
if I make a hyperlink in a button for example from "home" to the site "imprint", nicepage ignores my alias "imprint" and even ignores the SEF-firendly-parameter of Joomla: the result in the browser line is - unfortunately - " mysite.com/ct-menu1-item2/ct-menu1-item3 again and not "mysite.com/imprint". A bug?

Can you serve a solution for Joomla to have SEF-URL without manual chaning all alias adresses?

Hi,

Nicepage creates sich menu item aliases ("ct-menu1-item3") to avoid possible problems with duplicated aliases. The manual editing of aliases is the proper way to solve this issue. The SEF settings have no relation to it. For joomla it does not matter is it "ct-menu1-item3" or "about-us" alias. It works the same in all cases.

If you do not want to edit menu item aliases you can try creating a menu from scratch just like you did when you used regular joomla articles.

But, what will happen, if I import the template and the data a second time? Have I to change the alias adresses again?

Nicepage creates joomla menu when you import the content through the theme. If you import the content using plugin the new menu will not be created. In this case, you can link new pages in a usual way manually.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
