Ask a Question

Hi,
I'm quite confused by this - I don't think you have enough information on your site....
Is there a way that I can test this out to see how it works. You mention that it will build wordpress themes but then I found deep in the FAqs that it doesn't ibn fact affect the header or footer (templates) or wordpress.....well, thats not a theme - its a block builder....I wanted to test what it can actually do.
If I buy, is there a cooling off period to get a refund if it doesn't fulfill my needs? If so, what is that period?
I'm unclear on the lcienseing. its says lifetime with updates for a year but it then also says somewhere that after a year, I can't use the desktop apps anymore.....so what is the license for exactly?
Will templates and blocks be available after the year but only newly created ones won't be avaialble? It is not at all clear.

The app seems great and would be super useful but I can't go ahead without knowing how it would work and what it is that UI'm buying....
IF you could please come back to me ASAP on this as I am keen to take advantage of the black friday deal if I am to do this,
Thanks

Is there a way to test it out?
Yes, with the free Starter version. There are limitations though.
Also, there is usually a free 7 day trial.
You can use the last version before your license expires indefinitely. Anything new released after that won't be available. Renewing the license is typically 40% off if you want updates after that.
Refunds are 14 days in the Terms Of Use.

Great - thanks for your reply!
I realised after I posted that I could export fine - I hadn't tested it because all the export options had the little premium icon above them so I thought it was all restricted!.

Can';t see that but no worries...

Ok understood. Is that the same for wordpress themes do you know? I presume that for the WP themes to remain functional, they require the nicepage plugin installed. Does that mean that really, for a live production site, to make sure the plugin remains up to date in terms of security etc too, it needs to have a live subscription all the time?

Hello,
Thank you for your interest in Nicepage!

Ok understood. Is that the same for wordpress themes do you know? I presume that for the WP themes to remain functional, they require the nicepage plugin installed. You can export your theme from the Nicepage desktop app and import it into WordPress, and no plugin is needed for the theme because you can edit the Theme only in the desktop app. To be able to import, edit and create content in WordPress, you'll need to instal the Nicepage WordPress plugin: https://nicepage.com/download

Thanks Lilioneta...
Sorry, what I meant was....once the theme is on wordpress and live....I presume that the nicepage plugin needs to remain active in order for the theme to work properly?
If thats the case, does that mean that you need to have an active subscription if you want the site to remain live and online with the theme designed with nicepage? If I don't resuscribe, after the year is up, will the wordpress theme fail to continue working? Or will it just mean that the plugin will not be updated and therefore may be susceptible from a security point of view? I'm trying to work out if it is truly a lifetime license to use the software (for wordpress) or, if in reality, it does need to remain an active subscription.

I hope that makes sense?
Thanks

Also, Can you confirm that there is a 14 day cool off period after purchase during which time I can get a refund if the software doesn't fit my needs? Thanks

The license works for the updates and assistance. Once your year Is ended you can still use your version since the last update forever, so if you didn't want upgrade the license just don't upgrade when a new version Is available or messed up a bit your usabilty xD

Hi,

No. The plugin is not necessary for the Theme to work. However, the plugin is needed to import, edit & create content.

All the premium features will be available after the one year of free updates expires unless you update the Nicepage desktop app or plugin to the latest version by that time, then you'll be using Nicepage as a Free user.
After the one year of free updates expires, you won't get free updates for the desktop application, new plugin versions, and new functions won't be added to your existing one. If you wish to update to newer versions, you'll need to renew your plan.
