Hello.

Do you have something new and better than Nicepage? Maybe beta project?

Nicepage is not bad. Needs some improvements but a massive improvement from Artisteer.
I still have an Artisteer license I am sure lol
But I agree, would be good to try out some beta applications.

Hi Vitaliy,

We do not have any other projects, we are concentrating all our resources on developing Nicepage.

Artisteer was a huge step forward for its time but now it is really old and outdated and due to numerous technical reasons it cannot be improved further. We have made Nicepage as the combination of the best parts Artisteer and Themler had and pushed it further.

Also if you have any issues with the support, please create a separate topic with your questions, we would be happy to help.

Hella

Actually I don't need content / page builder, but template / theme builder.

Themler was awesome for this purpose, but now it's outdated as Artisteer (it's strange to say to clients that website will be based on old Bootstrap 3, that released 8 years ago).

Nicepage is very limited as template / theme builder... it don't allow to create even language switcher dropdown.

From other side: as history of Artisteer show us, after few years development team stop develop product (stay on bug fix only) and start new software project. Nicepage launched few years ago, so seems that development can be stopped in next few years.

I'm looking new template / theme builder to start with it from 2022, so I ask you about company plans :) Sad that you don't have new product, as Themler is in the end of lifetime but Nicepage loose to Themler as template / theme builder.

Hello,

Thank you for your comments.
Unfortunately switching from Bootstrap 3 to 4 in Themler is not as easy as you may expect. It requires rewriting of a huge part of the Themler. Therefore, we'll keep it with version 3.

We do not plan to stop Nicepage development in the near future. On the contrary, have a lot of plans for its development.

it don't allow to create even language switcher dropdown

Yes, but Nicepage provides the Position element where you can add any existing CMS module that created the element you need.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

In my opinion there is no reason to use Nicepage + CMS for small websites or landing pages. If all content need to create inside Nicepage, what for is CMS? The best practice will be use Nicepage for HTML export - HTML websites will be much more faster.

So for me Nicepage looks good for small creative HTML website. But without native multilanguage feature I can't use it for HTML projects. I'm waiting for this feature from the beginning and it's almost 3 years in developers Wishlist... but seems that this feature as many other don't have enough priority.

Sometime this "Thank you, we added this to our Wishlist" sounds like a "Ok, maybe, but probably no... but thank you" :)

As for Themler... I understand your position, I know that you are small company and don't want to risk with new product development (or Themler 2.0 with fresh Bootstrap). But you already have great experience with Themler, so version 2.0 will be not the same as develop it from scratch.

With the right approach (as you use for Nicepage) Themler 2.0 can blow the net as Artisteer did it. I mean right marketing, documentation and best practice blog.

As you told somewhere: Themler and Nicepage totally different products - it's true. Sad that Nicepage have huge priority but Themler is forgotten.

I still have my own Artisteer version 4.1 with my own licence. Some times i think to buy the full Artisteer version 4.3. What i do like about it is the"Lightbulb" button that by clicking made auto-doing of suggestions. I know that i have the permissions to make printscreens of Artisteer as Nicepage software. It's a good thing because i like to help by creating free none official pdf guides for others. There is many companys i have there permissions and authorizations. I am not an expert in many domains, but i try to help the Nicepage peoples. Like with my free guide that the subject forum title is: "Look Nicepage PDF Guide". I see when i have the time, questions on the forum and try to give good help and answers. A+

Nicepage may be dropped faster...

We do not plan to stop Nicepage development in the near future. On
thecontrary, have a lot of plans for its development.

Those plan was also for Themler.... and it's still plan.

For example

If we take a look at Themler Features plan we can see that feature called "Marketplace" marked as "In Process". But here is a topic with answer about this feature (quote: "Unfortunately, we don't expect it in the near future.").

It's about trust...

Hi Vitaliy,

That Marketplace feature for Themler was frequently discussed when Themler was developed, we have tried it a bit and it was connected with some hue problems. For sure they could be solve, but checking the feedback from Themler users we understood that this feature is not highly demanded as was expected so there was no actual reason for further implementation.

In any case, this is Nicepage forum, please discuss Themler features on Themler forum.

For now we are highly motivated to develop Nicepage further ad we have a lot of cool ideas.

Seems that each Themler user miss something in Nicepage, something that already have Themler. But Nicepage not develop this.

I'm waiting for multilanguage feature and more features for template building, someone waiting for RTL support, someone waiting something else...

Developers can't say when this features will be released. Many users many years ask for 1 year roadmap, but we still don't know what Nicepage bring to us in future (or not).

BTW, for all who can't forget Artisteer: TemplateToaster :)

I'm still waiting for my refund! I cannot use the current version of Themler, and the developers - as was CLEARLY stated by "Hella" that Nicepage has "all resources" - are not working on updating Themler for Joomla 4, still using "old" bootstrap, it would seem to me that management for Themler / Nicepage / Artisteer have 2 feet out the door!...not just one foot.

Even though thousands of developers can no longer use Themler, and Nicepage is - well there's nothing nice about Nicepage - we will all simply stop paying and the software will all disappear.
