Ask a Question

How can we avoid nicepage adding the trailing ".html" when creating links, I have my server configured with an htaccess file, and manually removing the ".html" extension from all my links is a bit of a hassle.

Hi,

Starting with Nicepage 5.2 version, we have supported creating SEO-Friendly URLs (without .HTML) for sites published on our hosting.
Here are more details https://nicepage.com/doc/330206/contact-form-cost-calculation-seo-friendly-urls.

As for the HTML export, Nicepage does not offer such an option.
Refer to this documentation https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/iis/extensions/url-rewrite-module/using-the-url-rewrite-module for more details or contact your hosting provider, they should help.

Sincerely,
Susanna I.

While NP doesn't support it nateively, it can easily be done via htaccess

Things like this make nicepage unusable. It’s needlessly cumbersome to build and update a proper website using this tool. Accordingly, everyone who uses this software eventually quits from frustration and uses something that isn’t designed to be so ridiculously limited.
