Ask a Question

Hello, according to this topic: https://nicepage.com/questions/82544/update-button, the “Update” button updates the theme.

But how do I do the opposite? How do I reset some custom styles to the theme?

The scenario is simple. You insert a pre-style block from the Library and want fonts to look the same as your theme (font family, font size, color, etc.).

Once, I had to do the whole site from scratch after clicking the “Update” button as all my fonts kept resetting to 1px, and I didn’t find how to fix it.

Hi, Alex,

The scenario is simple. You insert a pre-style block from the Library and want fonts to look the same as your theme (font family, font size, color, etc.).

Usually, if you insert a Block from your Library to another Project, it gets the same typography as the current Project. But only if the element uses theme styles. If the Block contains the elements with customized styles, these elements will keep the appearance in the new project. Unfortunately, you can't reset the customized style of the Text element. But if you change the style to the different option and then back the text will inherit default typography settings from the theme.

Once, I had to do the whole site from scratch after clicking the “Update” button as all my fonts kept resetting to 1px, and I didn’t find how to fix it.

For a better understanding, could you please reproduce and record this issue? Or at least tell us the actions for reproduction step-by-step, in more detail.
