Ask a Question

Dear Colleagues;

Greetings

I have purchased the above software's, Nice Page Ultimate and App Online Builder and Hosting.

After designing my new webpage or site, I would like to publish it to my domain esbcofze.com that I can not do with the above software's.

Your advice was to purchase the "App Online Builder and Hosting" which I did. However, when I go to export, the following happens
1. In HTML, Export Project as ftp
2. Add Server details: ftps, server user name, password, port 22. Finally done
3. Remote Directory: ESB Co FZE
4. Upon pressing Export, exporting takes place, but publishing takes a long time and nothing happens at then end.

Any advice!!!

Thanks and Regards

Emad

The solution is learning how Nicepage Wordpress plug-in works and how to use it.
If you aren’t needing blogs or stores, and simple html sites will work, the other option is simple html hosting instead of Wordpress hosting, but that’s probably more expensive, but easier.

Of course you are very right. However, I was trying to find a solution. The PW is already changed, no worries!

OK, what do you suggest then to find a solution to this nice story!

Thanks and Regards

I was able to log in with your creds, which you really shouldn't post in public, so delete them.
You have a Wordpress host on GoDaddy.
Since I'm not familiar with Wordpress, I can't help you at this point.
Their youtube videos should be helpful until Nicepage's support returns.

Further, I think something went wrong with the config file "wp-config-sample.php" as I mentioned before and I can not access my site through wp, except through FileZilla.

GoDaddy are restoring my site since last Thursday, and so far 70% is only restored. I wonder if this is normal that long period of time!

Maybe you can manage to find another better solution.

Thanks and Regards

When I go to your website, it's asking for Wordpress information.
It looks like you have a Wordpress host and not a standard html host.

I would call GoDaddy support and find out which folder you should upload your site files to.
I'm surprised since public_html typically is the folder you upload files to.

You really shouldn't put your creds to your host online here. Someone could hack it.
I couldn't connect anyway for some reason.

Can you scroll down further in the top right window to find the public_html folder?
Did GoDaddy tell you to upload your files to the \root folder?

I think you have the details of my site. Maybe a good idea is to enter by yourself and check it out and update me accordingly.

I checked for this public_html folder, but I can not see it there.

Thanks and Regards

OK.
Step 1. There are 2 versions of the program. One that is a desktop version where you upload your files to your own host. This is the version you have as described above with software support. The other version is where the host is included with the program.

Step 2. You aren't uploading your files to the correct folder. The \ root folder ISN'T the correct folder. I've said this several times already. You need to scroll down and select the public_html folder. Then copy your files to the bottom right box in filezilla. Then check your site in the browser. If's then OK, then go back to the \ root folder and remove the site files that shouldn't be there.

Hi,
I am using FileZilla to download the site to my domain. However, and upon using wordpress either through my godaddy account or using "www.esbcofze.com/wp-admin"
the following message apperars
"Sorry, I need a wp-config-sample.php file to work from. Please re-upload this file to your WordPress installation."

I spoke to godaddy customer service late last Thursday whom they are trying to restore the site to its previous state. Up to now, it is 70% and I do not know how further long it will take.

Therefore, your solution which sounds correct, I can not do it at the moment as it might disturb the site restoring. Maybe I am wrong.

What do you advice!

Thanks and Regards

Emad

Kindly find attached a screen shot of the FileZella.

I pointed on "\" and then as per your reply above, I need to copy my site directory under this \

Kindly confirm!

Further, and if it does not work, what will be the solution!

AND why is not that possible from Nicepage, as in this case assuming FileZilla solves the problem, then no need for the package "App Pack, Online Builder and and Hosting"

Thanks and Regards

If you are using GoDaddy, your site files need to go into the public_html folder.
Look at the picture link in my last post.
Using Filezilla, connect to your host.
In the top right box, select the public_html folder so it's blue.
Then drag your files from your computer to the bottom right box in Filezilla.
Then open your browser and see what it looks like.
You might need to press Control + F5 to clear the cache.
