I'm using a laptop with 2880x1620 resolution with an external monitor using the same resolution on Windows 10. I run the monitors at 200%
I tend to run nicepage application on the larger external monitor. When I exit the app and restart it, Windows often doesn't remember its position on the external monitor. Other than a minor annoyance, it's pretty easy to drag it back to the right position.
Except (there is always an except) when I start the app and the app has a new version, it pops up a modal dialog box asking if I want to download the new version. Unfortunately the modal dialog box has a radio button to select and the OK button.
The dialog box is unfortunately off screen and I can't make a choice of the radio buttons. The OK button is dimmed until I make a choice.
My solution has been to drag the app back to the main monitor before exiting the program. Sometimes I forget and have to unplug the external monitor to proceed.
There is a clunky set of Windows 10 keyboard strokes to move the app on the screen so I can access the radio buttons but that isn't very easy to maneuver.
any ideas? nicepage needs an alternate method of providing updates.
