Ask a Question

How do I play an MP3 file on my webpage?

Does Nicepage have an mp3 player similar to the video player?

Do I use a hyperlink with a URL that points to an mp3 file in a folder on my website server?

I have just purchased Nicepage, and I like it a lot so far.

Thank you.

Hi,

What exact issues with the preview do you have? Please create a separate case with the detailed explanation of the problem including screenshots.

The lack of even a basic audio player is ridiculous. How has Nicepage not corrected this?!

Purchased but as I neared completion of the first design, I found a large number of immense frustrations.... For example, how can the preview launched in the browser not match the site when test launched on Nicepage?

Hi,

There is no such special element in Nicepage, you can use the external code for the player and insert it into the HTML element on the page.

Hi,

This option is considered in our wishlist, but it is not on a roadmap for now. If you have issues adding the HTML code with a player, please create a separate topic and we'll try to help you.

The suggestion to include an mp3 player element is now 3 years old. This should have been added to NP by now.
Please make this happen else I am leaving.

I'd like to see an mp3 element in NicePage also. I need to include mp3 files on a portfolio page that includes radio ads. The suggestion to include an mp3 player element is now 3 years old. This should have been added to NP by now.

It doesn't make sense not to have an audio element in Nicepage. The players are built into the browsers and the code required is simply:

    <audio>
             <source src="path/music.mp3" type="audio/mpeg">
   </audio>

Since most of my clients are musicians, this might be a dealbreaker for me. I can't ask them use shortcode or program HTML if they want to showcase their songs. That's too difficult especially when it comes to finding the path for the media in Wordpress.

The Wordpress editor has really good support for audio, but when you install Nicepage it replaces that editor and leaves you with nothing. This is a major oversight in my opinion. Every other builder I've seen has audio support (Wix, DIVI, Beaverbuilder etc).

I suspect it would take only a few hours to add this feature in Nicepage. Hopefully they'll do it in the (very) near future.

Hi Stefan,

You are using some plug-in to display the music files? Then you have recreated that article using Nicepage? Or you have only installed the Nicepage theme and the article is not showing the content?

We will need an access to the site back end to review the settings. You can create a private topic for that. The errors you see are on;y notices and they do not affect the site presentation in common situations, maybe your issue is different.

Regarding the black footer, you will need to switch off the backlink to Nicepage under the Site Settings.

Hi Hella,

I do have the same problem. I work with Nicepage as a Joomla plugin. I need to create an article with sound samples of my guitars. Formerly I used a MP3 plugin for my Joomla-made website. I've purchased Nicepage 2 weeks ago and like it very much but this missing feature is unpleasant. When trying to make a regular, non-Nicepage article (to use a Joomla MP3 plugin), this article shows errors in the preview and the black footer which I cannot erase looks not very nice(see attached pic). I am really NOT able to work with HTML, this is why I choosed Nicepage. And if it's not possible to implement MP3 files, it is NOT a "total freedom of creativity".....
Greetings
Stefan

Hi Dan,

Thanks for your comments. Nicepage does not have the built-in mp3 player, but I'm sure that you could find any sample code for the player over the internet and then use the HTML control to add it into the page.
