Ask a Question

Hello,

I can see that you will never develop artisteer & themler support will end soon. and now you try to make Nicepage, as per my knowledge it's a page builder not a theme builder. So, in near future what software we will use for theme design, when you completely stop themler development ? May i need to search for another theme building software? or You will add theme building option nearly with Nicepage? What your actual plan, can you tell us? why you try to make new & new software after few years?

Thank you
Benjamin Biswas

Hello,

So it is possible to use Nicepage simply to layout articles and continue to use Themler for managing the theme without this being a problem?

Thank you for your feedback.

Hi,

Yes, you can use Nicepage as the content editor and use Themler as the theme editor.

I see a lot of content in the source code with the name "nicepage" - that was not the case with themler .... I think that's very bad

example:

u-layout-cell-1 {min-height: 182px} .nicepage-container .u-section-2 .u-container-layout-1 {padding: 20px 30px} .nicepage-container .u-section-2 .u-text-1 {font-size: 4.5rem; margin: 0} .nicepage-container /RESPONSIVE_CLASS/ .u-lg .u-section-2 .u-layout-wrap-1 {width: 881px; margin-left: 30px; margin-right: 30px} .nicepage-container

Hi,

We have the Ultimate license that includes the White Label option that gives you the option to use your own label for the exported theme and plug-in and that also removes every reference to Nicepage from the code.

But we hope that as soon as Nicepage becomes stable and finished
application, we'll be able to pay enough attention to Themler.

Hello.

How do you think, what is current state of Nicepage? Is it stable and finished or you plan active development in this year?

Hello.

How do you think, what is current state of Nicepage? Is it stable and finished or you plan active development in this year?

Hi.

As you don't provide any roadmap and plans for this year, it's very important to know.

  1. How do you think, what is current state of Nicepage? Is it stable

and finished or you plan active development in this year?

  2. Will developers back to Themler for major update (Bootstrap 4 / CSS

Grid, New features from wishlists, optimization) in this year or
only minor fixes will be (new CMS / PHP version support and small
    bug fixes)?

Very important to know.

I understand that you are small company. But please understand your customers too and be honest. Many of your customers still believe and waiting for developers at Themler project.

We all love Themler, but the big question - is it reasonable to start new project with outdated framework and software (Bootstrap 3 was released in 2013, Themler in 2014).

Seems that someone have a long holidays... :)
Still waiting for news about these two important questions.

Many other Pagebuilders already shared their plans for this year... Nicepage and Themler in mist.

  1. Nicepage is stable for most of our customers. But we plan to develop it this year (fix problems and add new features).
  2. At this moment we do not plan to switch Themler to Bootstrap 4 as it will cause rewriting half of Themler. But we plan to fix problems just like last yer.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Will Bootstrap 3 work OK with Joomla 4? You'll have to do something to make it work. You are going to support Joomla 4?

Why not? Joomla 4 will have CSS Grid on backend. What you use on frontend to create template and content - is your decision :)
You can use even table layouts :)

Themler editor probably will work with new CMS versions, they plan to suppor new CMS versions, this is good for old projects if you don't plan to use new modern framework instead Bootstrap 3.

I stopped using their template to create content, except in some rare circumstances. SP Page Builder Pro is almost as good and works without opening the template. In case I ever switch templates all won't be lost either.

Interesting. I own Artisteer and Themler and did not even know Nicepage is the same company. Also never was offered any discounts for NP. I just recently contacted Artisteer team because with the current version generated templates (at least for Joomla) don't work well and cause lots of issues. So far did not get much help.

I paid for Themler about 2 yrs ago and never started using it as it was slow, and complex and I have had some issues. I think it was also working only-on line (not off-line).

Tired SP PAGE BUILDER (full version) and it sucks. There are lots of problems and they are not easy to fix so I decided to quit.
Now I'm testing full version of JA PAGE BUILDER but it has its issues as well (though it seem to be more stable than SP PB). The framework allows to build the template and then you can finish this up with page builder.

While testing NP and creating content (I only used it 2-3 times, just playing with it) - I can say it is joy to work with it. I do not know however how it interacts with other Joomla components. Asked the SUPPORT some questions but so far no answer...

My concern is about the company. I started with them long time ago (with Code Charge Studio), then with Artisteer etc.
There were many times I did not liked their attitude, or responses. Also I think this company does not have skilled people to do right marketing and then the product suffers from not enough sales. This results poor development and support etc because they do not have enough funds to pay people for work etc. So bottom line is the for me it is a bitter-sweet experience.
As you know Code Charge Studio is practicaly dead and I'm convinced this will happen to Artisteer as well. It was a god product but under-developed.

What discount can I get as an Artisteer/Themler user ?

Then you probably know all the problems that this company have... but they move forward and improves their services and software :)

Please wait for answer from support team.

One thing I noticed when bring up a debugger on each page is that the Bootstrap version in Joomla appears in use.

I think in order to make Themler work with mobile devices better is to use the same format of containers and grids and Joomla should be able to handle the rest.

My only worry at this point is when Joomla moves to v4 we're likely s**t out of luck and Themler will be useless after the upgrade.

But I have grown tired of the same issue happening in site themes that I've already taken the step of moving a government contract over to Django because of Alt tags missing in pictures and other items such as buttons, fields, ect. It has to comply with the Disabled Act and Nicepage doesn't. I can't use it for any restaurant chains either.

I should have taken up HTML in 95 when the Internet came online for the public. But I was too burned out creating screens in ASCII after 8 years of it.

Hi,

of Alt tags missing in pictures and other items such as buttons, fields, ect.

The ALT attribute is for html images, input and area elements. In Nicepage you can add alternative text for images on the right-side panel. Nicepage Button is a link (an A element).

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

You nailed it, easy but limited. I am more interested in the customizations. Modules, etc. that Themler allows. Hopefully, 2 different products, both actively developed to work together.

Think of most of the Joomla template systems. Both typically offer a template framework and page builder. Not one or the other.

I want this, not NicePage.

I use TemplateToaster now. Great product and much like Artisteer.
