Ask a Question

I'm in contact with GoDaddy. We are trying to figure out why my page isn't loading properly on their server and producing error code 500. When I uploaded the zip file to their server they noticed there was no SQL file(s). How do we do a database dump that will include that/these missing file(s)?
I have included the entire error log for your review.

Richard,

What SQL files do you expect with the personal license? You can create and install the WP theme, or you can install the plugin downloaded from the nicepage website?

I'm just going by what GoDaddy said. How do we get it there as a functioning web page. They even mentioned something about a database dump.

Hi Richard,

Nicepage Desktop creates static HTML websites that include CSS, HTML, and JS files (no PGP or SQL DB included) and theme and content for Joomla and WordPress. In the first case, there is nothing that may cause 500 error, as this is a simple static HTML website. In the second case, you should install CMS first, then import theme and content according to the instruction.

Olivia

I just want to get this published. Why can't I do a 3 way phone call with you and GoDaddy? I've loaded it as WP on the GoDaddy server, /public_html, I've loaded it as html on the GoDaddy server, /public_html. Loaded as html is the closest we can get anything to show. It looks absolutely nothing like what I created there are no images, links, margins, or colors like in the Nicepage builder. They direct me to you, you direct me to them. I've uploaded the template and plugins. The only place it looks correct and works is when I preview it on the Nicepage builder. Help!!

Richard,

Please start by providing answers to the following questions.

1) Is your domain assigned to a folder?
2) Please test that by creating a plain HTML file with only "Test" in it.
3) Do you export HTML? (3rd tab in the export dialog. IMPORTANT!)
4) Do you upload that HTML export (all files as are) to the folder assigned to the domain?

Allen R.
