In WordPress, you can place widgets in three different ways.

  1. Widget Area in Header and Footer with App
  2. Sidebar and Primary Widget Area in Blog and Post with App
  3. Widget Area in Content with Plugin

Blog pages can have a Sidebar. In WordPress, there are BLOG and POST templates used to output the Blog content. The process of adding a Sidebar to BLOG and POST Templates is similar.

Exporting Theme with a Sidebar in Blog

  1. Run the Nicepage Application for Windows or Mac OS.
  2. Open your working project.
  3. Select the Blog Template.
  4. Enable the Sidebar for the Blog Page in the Property Panel,
  5. Change the Sidebar from Left to Right.
  6. You can style the Sidebar Content.
  7. Select the Block Header
  8. Make it Uppercase, and Centered.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Click Export.

Importing Theme to WordPress

  1. Open the WordPress Administration in your browser tab.
  2. Select Appearance -> Themes.
  3. Add a New Theme.
  4. Click the Upload Theme button.
  5. Drag or browse for the zip with your Theme.
  6. Click the Install button.
  7. Activate the imported Theme.

Using WordPress Widgets

  1. Click Appearance -> Widgets.
  2. In WordPress, by default, the added Sidebar to the BLOG and POST templates is output to the Primary Widget Area.
  3. Locate the Primary Widget Area.
  4. Add the Image widget.
  5. Select an image.
  6. Click Save Widget.
  7. Add the Text widget.
  8. Enter any text.
  9. Click Save Widget.
  10. Click "WordPress" -> “Visit Site” to preview.
