Ask a Question

In addition to the wide main content, I need a narrower column with navigation (example of the website that we rebuilt with Nicepage: https://alt.fcmag.ch/vertrauen.html)

I have found a guide for columns for Wordpress. But I don't have Wordpress and no store - I'm just looking for a solution how I can repeat the navigation in the content.

I think I have read that the navigation can only be in the header. Then I would create a navigation help manually as linked text.

Can the elements be extended so that further navigations can be integrated within the page? Depending on the navigation concept, the page becomes easier to use.

Hi Christian,

We do not have an option for such navigation especially for the HTML sites. If you use WP or Joomla you can add a sidebar for the post and blog templates and add the desired widget there. But this sidebar would also appear only on the pages that use the above-mentioned templates, so the pages with the content created with Nicepage won't be using the sidebar.
For the HTML site you can try to use a grid element on the page and add some text elements to the column where you can insert text links for the desired menu items./

May I request such a function so that you can integrate it as quickly as possible?

I am evaluating various systems that we will use in the future to create and rebuild many of our websites that are currently operated with a CMS. This feature is the reason why we can't work with Nicepage, because most of our websites have a side column in the main area where the navigation is repeated.

1st request: Main area of the website with several columns, e.g. ⅓, ¼, 1/5 of the page width (in the smartphone view either below the main area or completely hidden)

  1. wish: repetition of the navigation in the main area, ideally in different representations (list below each other, list next to each other, as linked image boxes, as a drop-down menu...)

Hello Christian,

We will add this request about the navigation element to our wishlist but cannot guarantee quick implementation as you can already create it manually with Grid as described above.
