Dear supporter!
I would like your help with the following. I would like to make sure that when someone clicks on my contact form to apply, they receive a template email that their application has been recorded. My site is in wp but nicepagel edited. I found out that the contact form 7 plugin is supposed to be compatible with cform but my question is: with this plugin can I make my existing contact form not change and the data will still be entered in my google sheet but the applicant will receive the email I would send him?
Hi Daniel,
Without knowing how you have WP or Nicepage configured and hosted, it's hard to say if this is supported by design without (see my other post).
However, if you have a script that is being used/run to send the contact form, then you can modify it to also send an email to the customer. In my case, I have an email sent from the customer with their contact form info, and "to the customer" as a confirmation of receiving the contact form submission. I'm not using the google sheet, but will look into this as a proof of concept in the future.
