Hello,
is it possible to simply give all existing posts headers and footers from the new design? Or do I have to click each one individually and click "Turn to Nicepage"? and save? Is there a mass function?

Do you mean to apply the option Edit with Nicepage? You can apply it only for one page at once.

Tobias,
If you're migrating the website to a new domain or server, or if you're changing the site's URL structure, you might need to update internal links to ensure they point to the correct locations. WordPress has tools and plugins that can help you streamline this process and update links automatically.

What is the best way for me to proceed with existing pages in order to take over the content (texts + images)?

There is no Joomla option to turn to Nicepage for several pages, only one by one.
Please let us know what is the final result you want to achieve, and explain your current page status in detail. Do you need to replace content for each one native article in Joomla?

Yes, all content is managed in Joomla articles. In other words, do I have to rebuild everything and manage the content in modules and nicepage?
Thx you!

You will need to edit each page separately with the Nicepage editor in this case.

No, you did all correctly. But the content of the native article is not transferred into Nicepage, the content should be copied before the page transition, and pasted after the editor is opened.

Ok, so how do other users of the site then change the post? Do they then have to open Nicepage? How do users create new posts for a website? It also has to be customer-friendly, since I am a websedigner and the customers create news etc. themselves
greets

You can create native Joomla articles for your posts. If you have Nicepage theme as default for your site, the post page will be displayed with Nicepage Post template. Nicepage theme and templated can be edited with desktop application only.
You can create Nicepage pages with Nicepage plugin editor in Joomla and add Nicepage elements to your page.
It depends on the final result you want to achieve.
Let us know.

Hello and thanks!
Can I export Nicepage template file from Joomla and paste it into Nicepage desktop for editing? I created a zip from the theme using WinScp..but that doesn't seem to work.
Individual blocks work, but not the entire theme
Greetings

Hello Tobias,
No, you don't, there is no option to import the theme file back into a desktop application.
If you need to recreate the same theme header/footer, you can export the header and footer as blocks too, and import them into the blank project file with the desktop application.

Hello Tobias,
You can set the menu item background only to change under different states as active/default/hover, font style will be applied to all the states.

Hello, yes and how can I change this? this is something very important that designers need?Hello Tobias,
You'll need to add custom CSS in your theme Site settings to target the specific active menu item and apply the "bold" style to it.
