For me, it was related to me having 3 block elements within a 3-cell grid. Wordpress was moderating those blocks as widgets and using the content of the first block to populate the remaining 2 (overwriting the content I placed in those blocks).
-
Solution that worked for me:
- In the Nicepage Wordpress plugin, in my footer section, I selected each block and one-by-one I gave each block its own name in the "Joomla Position or Wordpress Sidebar Name" field. I saved the changes.
- Then I went to widgets (Appearance --> Widgets) and located the widget that was being repeated across all other footer widgets. In my case, it was labeled Widget Area 1. I deleted the content under Title and the content in the body, leaving it all blank. Once I hit update that resolved the issue.
Since the issue is related to the block element, I suppose that an alternative solution might be to get rid of the blocks in your footer altogether and just use text and/or heading elements inside your grids instead.
